New work by Stephanie Kantor and Bowie Croisant is showcased in this culminating exhibition that surveys their time as Red Star resident artists. Kantor's comparison of her exploration of Kansas City to the Lewis and Clark expedition is reflected in imagery she incorporates into her pottery and wall reliefs. Croisant explores geometric form, firing techniques, and the use of CAD software as a ceramics tool in his sculptural and functional work. Since 1998 Red Star has welcomed artists to participate in our nationally recognized Artist in Residence Program.
