"Serving Dish" - Ingrid Bathe

This dish was slab-built using porcelain. It was painted with a translucent glaze and measures 12" x 6" x 3.5.

Ingrid Bathe is a ceramic artist living and working in Edgecomb, ME. She primarily works with hand-built porcelain. She received a BA in Social Psychology and a BFA, in 1997, from Tufts University and the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston. She received her MFA in 2003 from Ohio University. Bathe moved to Edgecomb after graduating to be the Assistant Director at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts. Currently, she travels and maintains her studio practice.
