Michelle Tobia is a studio artist in Doylestown, PA. For the past four years she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She received an MFA in 2004 from Ohio University, a BFA in 2001 from The Kansas City Art Institute and a BS in Human Development and Family Studies and Early Childhood Education in 1996 from the Pennsylvania State University. Michelle has been a resident artist at the Clay Art Center in New York and in June 2005 and 2008 at the International Ceramics Studio in Kecskemet, Hungary. She actively continues to make & exhibit her porcelain work that explores the material's translucency and function.
