Chris Rom is half of a husband and wife team who collaborate to make sculptural, mixed-media objects. She attended Bowling Green State University in Ohio and received her BFA in 1994.  On a simple suggestion and only three ceramics classes between Chris and husband Geoff Buddie, the couple decided to open up their own pottery studio in 1994. In 2004, they began to work with mixed media. Currently they are working in stoneware, porcelain, hand felted wool, rubber, milk paint, metal, and wood. They live and work in Ohio.
