Matthew Metz is a ceramic artist living and working in Alfred, NY. Metz received his B.F.A. from Ball State University in 1983 and his M.F.A. from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1985. Matthew received a National Endowment for the arts Fellowship in 1990. He was a resident at the Archie Bray Foundation from 1989 - 1991 and has been a guest lecturer and teacher throughout the country. His work can be found in the Arkansas Arts Center, Minneapolis Institute for the Arts, and the Archie Bray Foundation.
