Seth Green is originally from Cedar City, Utah where he studied ceramics and received his BFA from Southern Utah University. He received his MFA in Ceramics from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln in May of 2009. He has worked at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village, Colorado as a summer workshop assistant, and has completed a summer residency at the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts in Helena, Montana. Green is currently teaching ceramics full-time at Morehead State University in Kentucky. His ceramic vessels refer to historical luxury or ceremonial vessels that speak about the spiritually symbolic nature of religious architecture.
