Originally from New Jersey, Rob Giordano received a BA from Kean College in 1974, and from the early to mid-80's studied at Earth & Fire Clay Studio in Morristown, NJ. He exhibited frequently at this studio and at White Buffalo Studio at Longbeach Island, NJ. Since moving to Florida, Giordano's work has been in shows at the Florida Craftsmen Gallery and the Arts Center's Hough Gallery. He currently has studio space at St. Petersburg Clay Company. The delightful figures that spring from Giordano's hands are an expression of his belief in embracing the unpredictable. His figures often express that unpredictability, with a melding of poignancy and whimsy.
