"Geometric Plate" - Justin Crowe

This plate was wheel-thrown using porcelain. It was painted with geometric designs created using underglaze and transfer techniques. The plate measures 10" x 10" x 1".

Justin Crowe is an artist and entrepreneur currently residing in Hudson, Ohio. At the age of 13, Crowe began selling at local art shows and teaching out of his basement studio. Crowe received his BFA at Alfred University and attended Haystack Mountain School of Crafts for a session taught by ceramic artist Kristen Morgin. In his senior year at Alfred University, Crowe founded and managed “The Attic” Student Art Gallery in Alfred, NY. In 2011 Crowe was featured in Ceramics Monthly’s annual “Undergraduate Showcase.”
