"Nissan Maxima Cup No.4" - Ryan Fletcher

This cup was slip-cast using porcelain, coated with a translucent glaze, and high-fired in an oxidation process. The cup was designed using the cup holder from a 2001 Nissan Maxima. It measures 2.75" x 2.5" x 5.25".

Ryan Fletcher is a ceramic artist living and working in Kansas CIty, Missouri. His interests in functional ceramics began more than ten years ago when he was first introduced to clay in high school. Ryan's interest in product design came through studying Bauhaus philosophies and writings.
