"Jar With Industrial & Botanical Drawings" - Daniel Ricardo Tera

This jar was wheel-thrown with earthenware. It was decorated with sgraffito line work and low-fired in an oxidation process. The jar measures 3" x 3" x 2.25".

Daniel Ricardo Teran is a 2007 Kansas City Art Institute graduate of ceramics from, Dallas, TX. Teran creates narrative ceramics, inspired by his Latin American and European heritage. The surfaces are etched with illustrations of issues such as identity, energy and death. Teran has been a Juried Artist in Residence at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts, in Newcastle, ME and an Artist Resident at The Armory Art Center, in West Palm Beach, FL. He currently lives in Philadelphia, PA.
