Bob Briscoe received his graduate degree from Kansas State University where he studied with Angelo Garzio. He then apprenticed with James Vandergriff and Lou Wynne before becoming a full-time studio Potter in 1971. Briscoe has since received the McKnight Fellowship, the Jerome Foundation Award, and the Clay National Award of Excellence. He exhibits nationally at Lemieux Gallery in New Orleans, LA, Lill Street Gallery in Chicago, IL, McLaren/ Markowitz Gallery in Boulder, CO, Rochester Art Center in Rochester, MN, and the Virginia Breier Gallery in San Francisco, CA. His work is in both private and public collections such as the Fredrick R. Weisman Museum of Art, the Wustum Museum of Art, the Margaret Harlow Collection.
